Our Leadership
Elder - Arthur Cook
Pastor Arthur and his wife Anna, were married in the summer of 2004. The Lord has blessed them with six wonderful children: Jordan, David, James, Jonathan, Violet and Henry.
Pastor Arthur was saved in his 20’s while serving as a worship leader at the church he was attending. The Lord used Bob Kauflin’s book, Worship Matters, along with John Owen’s book, Overcoming Sin and Temptation, to open his eyes to the reality of his hopeless condition without Christ, and lead him to repentance and faith. Since that time, the Lord has given him a love and a passion for Christ and His Word. He loves to read and study- some of his favorite authors being John Owen, John Calvin and John Bunyan. He also enjoys studying church history, and playing piano and guitar.
Pastor Arthur has served as an elder at Grace Community Church since the church was planted in 2020. He also supports his family bi-vocationally through piano tuning and repair, an occupation he has been blessed with for the last 25 years.
The Cook family enjoys having company, playing music, reading, taking long summer walks, listening to dad read aloud, drinking coffee, and traveling all over Michigan to basketball games for the boys during the winter months.
Grace Community Church has been blessed to have Pastor Josh as an elder since 2023. Along with his wife Sarah, he is a proud parent of their 5 children: Seth, Peter, Patti, George, and Annie.
After graduating from Wheaton College, Pastor Josh served as an officer in the United States Army for 8 years. He currently provides for his family by working as a supply chain director at a local manufacturing company. He and his wife Sarah were married in 2010 and love spending time with one another singing and playing music, being active in many ways (Such as hunting, fishing, basketball, hiking, and much more!), and most of all, they love serving the Lord and His Church together!
Pastor Josh is passionate about seeing the Lord glorified by expounding on God's grace in teaching, aiding the Church in growing in a love for truth, and loving and serving God's people. He loves learning about the Puritans, Reformers, and all manner of Church history.
